Borrow From Other Libraries
If we don't own an item, you might still be able to get it through our Summit partnership with regional libraries. Simply search the catalog, sign in, and place a request. You'll be emailed when the item is ready and we'll hold it for 7 days.
Summit items can be delivered to Forest Grove or Hillsboro.
If you can't find something at Pacific or Summit, we can help you get it from other libraries for free. We deliver to Pacific campuses and home addresses for distance learners.
We use ILLiad for loans and need your current contact information to get items to you. The first time you place a request, you'll need to register.
Once you do, you'll be able to:
- Request items from libraries worldwide
- Request copies of print or microfilm articles from Pacific
- Access article PDFs
- Manage requests
Interlibrary Loan is only for our current students, faculty, and staff. Alumni can contact staff about copies of print journals.
Arrival time varies, but articles may take 1 to 2 days. Physical loans can take 7-10 days, depending on where they come from. Please plan ahead!
Loaning libraries set the due dates and renewals so they vary. Fines may apply for lost or damaged items. Articles are available for 60 days, so be sure to download them before they expire!
