CETCI runs a yearly New Faculty Learning Community, which is a space for faculty members in their first two years at Pacific to meet peers, access timely support while learning new systems, and carve out time to think intentionally about their teaching practices.
The 2025/2026 cohort have access to a Moodle Community Hub, which houses information on upcoming events, tutorials and resources, discussion boards, helpful announcements, and a space to request trainings and resources. This space also provides opportunities for community building amongst new faculty, and the wider community.
Our upcoming events are as follows:
Forest Grove New Faculty Orientation Lunch: August 18th at 12pm, Tran Library second floor reading room.
Hillsboro New Faculty Orientation Lunch: September 10th at 12pm, HPC2 Sarah Hopkins Atrium.
Setting up a Productive Working Life panel discussion: Tuesday, September 30 at 3:30pm on Zoom
